Carved Stone English Sundial
A carved vasiform stone sundial baluster, the lower portion with an unusual fluted motif, the whole topped with a bronze dial plate with Roman numerals (the numeral four is written IIII, not IV) and pierced gnomon, the whole atop an associated millstone, English, ca. 1920. 42.75 ins. overall height (including millstone), gnomon 3.25 ins. high, baluster 33.5 ins. high; millstone 6 ins. high, 23 ins. diameter.
