Carved Marble Urns
A pair of carved marble urns, each with double-looped handles, the urn body with portrait busts and grapevines, the motifs and overall shape of the urns inspired by the Warwick Vase, an ancient Roman urn discovered at Hadrian’s Villa, in Tivoli, Italy, in about 1771, Asian, ca. 1990. 23 ins. high, 33.5 ins. wide handle to handle, 15 ins. diameter at base.
