A pair of carved marble urns, each with double-looped handles, the urn body with portrait busts and grapevines, the motifs and overall shape of the urns inspired by the Warwick Vase, an ancient Roman urn discovered at Hadrian’s Villa, in Tivoli, Italy, in about 1771, Asian, ca. 1990, on associated pair of carved marble pedestals with tapered balusters, flared tops, rising socles, and with decorative openwork aprons at feet, Italian, ca. 1900. Overall height; 77 ins. Urns 23 ins. high, 33.5 ins. wide handle to handle, 15 ins. diameter at base. Pedestals 54 ins. high, 22 ins. wide, 21 ins. deep.
